The first section of our website gives details of our full-day Great Days Out loco-hauled charter trains programme for 2017. These special excursion trains offer the comfort of InterCity rail travel, with reserved seats, offering unsurpassed views of some of the most spectacular scenic locations to be found in the UK.
Operating direct from many East Anglian stations, our special trains are normally formed with Mark 2 West Coast Railway InterCity coaches, and top & tailed with Class 47/57 diesel locomotives, offering passengers through services to popular and unusual destinations, without the need to change trains en-route.

PREMIER CLASS TRAVEL
For that special and memorable day out, passengers can choose to travel Premier Class in first class dining coaches, where you will be served at-seat, Silver Service breakfast, light lunch (packed lunch if your destination involves an early arrival), and a full 4 course evening dinner (set menu), freshly cooked on the train by our on-board Catering team.
If you require a Vegetarian option - these meals must be pre-ordered at least 3 weeks in advance of your designated tour.
FIRST CLASS TRAVEL
A limited number of first class seats are available on Great Days Out special trains, on payment of a fare supplement when booking.
All special charter trains convey a Buffet Car, which is available to all passengers for the sale of hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, tea/coffee, and a wide selection of drinks.

BOOKING CONDITIONS. All bookings will be acknowledged, with tickets, seat reservations and finalized timings, being posted to you a few days prior to the date of travel. All tour details are given in good faith, however, intending passengers should note that approximate timings contained within this brochure are subject to confirmation by Network Rail, and our train operating company, and that finalized timings may not always fully reflect our estimated itinerary. Every effort will be made to keep good timekeeping and ensure that Great Days Out (Special trains), Capital Days Out and Short Breaks/Holidays operate as planned, but we cannot accept responsibility for any delay or alteration caused by situations outside our control, as a result of inclement weather, missed service train connections and delays, industrial action, operating conditions on the day, or train timetable changes. Nenta Traintours reserves the right to alter its planned itineraries at any time, and shall not incur any liability to any person who has bought tickets or reserved seats, should any changes be deemed necessary. With reference to all UK day tours, cancellation of a day tour more than 6 weeks (or 21 days before departure on medical grounds, and with the production of a medical certificate) prior to departure, incurs a charge of £10. 00. per person. We regret that we are unable to issue any refunds for any day tour cancellations less than 6 weeks, prior to departure. Customers booking on our Short Breaks, should ensure that they have adequate Travel/Cancellation Insurance cover.

Important: When you are in possession of our printed Itinerary for any given day trip, please read the arrangements thoroughly. We regret that we cannot accept responsibility if you miss the train, connecting services are late or cancelled, or if you are left behind through not being in the right place at the right time. Always keep our itinerary with you - which conveys our details and mobile number for the day.
